The traditional room exceeded my expectations with its authentic charm. The private dining room for both dinner and breakfast was a wonderful touch. The location of the hotel, nestled in a tranquil and beautiful setting, added to the overall experience.
The futons provided for sleeping were not very comfortable, especially for taller individuals. Additionally, the pillows could have been more comfortable as well.

The hot springs were a highlight, especially the outdoor baths. The attentive and friendly staff, including the woman who served our meals, made our stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Despite the slight inconvenience of a shorter private bath time and the distance from nearby towns without transportation options, the exceptional cleanliness, generous amenities, and exquisite food more than made up for it. Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan is truly a remarkable place, and I couldn't be happier with my stay.
