An authentic escape into tradition
During our stay, the breathtaking views from the private onsen were unforgettable, especially as we watched nature's mist unfold in the early morning light. The food was prepared with such care, making each meal a delightful experience.
We did find the path to the hotel a bit challenging. the three-hour travel without public transport options made it a bit inconvenient. Also, the private bath time felt a bit rushed at only 30 minutes.

i was honestly considering a good review until i noticed the pillows were absolutely too old and stained, and the private bath time was just 30 minutes—how romantic! it woudl ve been nice to have a complimentary gesture for all the inconveniences. i mean, how hard could that be? completely underwhelming stay, honestly.

The food was nothing short of
amazing, especially the multi-course kaiseki dinner that showcased seasonal local ingredients. I was particularly impressed with the grilled fish. The only downside was that the building showed some signs of aging, especially in the hall carpets, which detracted from the experience a bit.
